really good stay with fine views

great views breakfast buffet prompt service

the hotel's location provided good views of the bay. the cable car was a short walk away, and the bus stop was right outside. the breakfast buffet offered plenty of choices, i could order coffees from the wait staff (the service was prompt!).

i found that the lounge bar had a limited selection of gin. only two options were available, even though the terrace drinks menu listed six.

The room had a balcony with a sea view. I woke up to beautiful sunrises (what a treat!). The breakfast included a wide selection and abundant choices. The hotel pool, located across the street in a park, included a bar and sunbeds.

The hotel is a bit far to reach the city center on foot. A taxi might be needed.

underwhelming experience

charging point bathroom size

the views from the bedroom were acceptable, especially of ships in the straits (a nice sight).

the room lacked modern facilities like a usb charging point. the bathroom was small and basic, though clean. fruit flies and house sparrows were prevalent in the dining room, especially on the breads and pastries. this was off putting.

I was expecting a bit more from my stay. the breakfast was pretty basic. Not what i'd expect. the hot food tasted like it had been sitting out. Everything was dry. the hotel needs to improve their breakfast quality. It was disappointing.

outdated bathroom weak wifi

the location was fairly close to the cable car.

The room showed its age. The bathroom was quite outdated. i found several electrical outlets loose from the wall creating a safety concern. also, the wifi signal was weak and unreliable in the room, hard to work.
