Suites at Riad Joya
Riad Joya offers seven suites, each with bespoke furnishings by Branchini. Suites range from 35 to 45 square meters. Each includes a sitting area, dressing room, and a bathroom finished in dark tadelakt with a shower and hand-beaten brass and copper basins. Some suites feature four-poster beds and fainting couches. The Dar Arabe Suite has a traditional Moroccan bed, sofa chairs with pillows, blown glass lamps, and a desk with an inlaid wooden chair, plus a menzeh. Some suites connect, like the Tuareg Suite connected to the Ambregris Suite, and the Dar Arabe Suite connecting to the Domus Suite.
Dining Experiences
Breakfast includes fresh orange juice and homemade food, served in the dining room or on the terrace. The lunchtime menu features appetizers and salads made with local vegetables, plus daily snacks. For dinner, guests can eat on the terrace or in the dining room, enjoying Moroccan cuisine alongside Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Guests can try a cookery course that involves a market visit and a tutored lesson from the chef. There is also an option to discover the same places as Jamie Oliver and to discover the secret ingredients that makes the originality of the Moroccan cuisine such as the spices, S'men L'Khlia, the spicy olives, pickled vegetables...before you come back to the riad and learn how to make your own tagine.
Leisure and Wellness
Guests can use the roof terrace with seating beneath a Berber tent, sun loungers, and a hot tub. A second patio features a granite black pool and wicker loungers. There is also an intimate massage room where therapists provide treatments. Guests can visit a Berber Village and enjoy Berber tea in a traditional house. Activities include Moroccan cooking classes, Hammam spa rituals, yoga, hot air balloon rides, and golf at the Amelkis or Royal Golf courses.
Location and Access
Riad Joya is in the Medina, near Médersa Ben-Youssef, the Museum of Marrakech, Jemma el-Fna, Mosque de la Kasbah, El Badi Palace, Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs. It's located in the historical Mouassine area, a short walk from Djemaa El Fna square and the souk. Bahia Palace is nearby, built in 1880. The area features colorful alleys and small squares with stalls and ateliers devoted to crafts.
