The Queens Head Hotel boasts a marvellous central location close to the rampart walls, shops, restaurants, and pubs, making it easy to explore Berwick Upon Tweed. Guests often appreciate the spacious rooms, some featuring large windows overlooking the main street. The breakfast, offering both continental and cooked options, is generally considered good; however, a few guests have noted the self check-in process could be improved with clearer instructions provided in advance. The hotel is also conveniently walkable to both the river and the LNER train station.

small double roombasic breakfast
The building was quite dark on arrival. i found the small double room to be cramped, particularly with luggage. the mattress reminded me of it needed replacing. It was not comfortable. i found the lack of on-site staff in the evening unsettling. breakfast was rather basic. It did not meet expectations given the price i paid.
