The shower had black mold, a clear oversight, and the tv didn't function due to wifi issues. electrical wiring in the room was unsafe, raising significant concerns. the fire exit, described as direct access to the road, was locked and inaccessible. Staff indicated it hadn't been opened in some time.

The location was GREAT for the city center. Access was good, and using the visitor parking permit made it easy to park the car. The pub has a nice atmosphere with a vast range of real ales and bottled drinks at good prices. I think the bed was amazing.
The stairs to my first floor room were steep, i DO need to note that.

The staff were friendly. A lovely lady managed to get my vehicle parked directly outside the hotel. SHE then showed me to my room quickly and efficiently, which i APPRECIATED.

the pub has a really nice atmosphere. It offers a vast range of real ales, draught beers, and bottled drinks. The prices are quite reasonable. I found good value in THEIR offerings.

the room was really spacious. It was also very clean, a welcome sight. I had a comfortable bed and pillows. These features were well worth the money I PAID.

the parking permit was helpful. i parked right outside the building on the street. the check-in process was fast. i checked in before the official 3 pm time. the room had everything i needed, including an iron, ironing board, and hair straighteners.
the shower was covered in black mould which was very unhygienic, and the tv didn't work because of the bad wi-fi.

the location was acceptable because it allowed convenient access to nearby attractions.
The shower was not up to standard. There was a lot of black on the grouting. cigarette smoke filtered into the shower room from the pub smoking area, which i found unpleasant.
