i found the breakfast offered many options. i saw frequent boats going to join the city center. the pools also looked nice and well-kept.
the airport pick up was not arranged as messages were not answered. i found negotiating for a taxi at the airport traumatic. i did not find bath towels in the room upon arrival.

the hotel's location on its own island created a tranquil escape, a very short boat ride away from the city. ms christeen geres was particularly helpful, upgrading our room to one with fine views. the staff arranged tours for us at prices cheaper than offered elsewhere, a true plus.
the housekeeping team needs more training, simple requests, such as water in the room, were sometimes unmet.

our room had cozy beds and a nice balcony. the bathroom was elegant and clean, a bonus when travelling. the room's space was generous (i appreciated that!), a perfect haven after a day of exploration.

The hotel has terraces, pools, and chill out spots. I could order food and drinks from the bar. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet with many international and Egyptian food choices. The reception, bar, and restaurant staff were very nice.

christeen and other staff offered superb customer care and the restaurant staff were very accommodating so that was acceptable.
the hotel shows its age with creaky doors. the furniture looked quite dated. our sleep was less than restful because of shaky mattresses.

What is the best way to travel from the train station or airport to the hotel without using the paid pick-up service?

There is a complimentary ferry service provided to cross the river to the hotel. The dock is located on Corniche Street in front of the courthouse, and it takes approximately 10 minutes to reach the hotel from there. This ferry operates every 20 minutes.
Are there any restrictions for sharing a room if I'm traveling with my partner? We are not married.
