average stay, some issues noted

dim lighting absent shuttle

The room lacked sufficient lighting. It felt quite dim, especially in the evenings. furthermore, the advertised airport shuttle was not available, inconvenient. i had to rely on public transport, a longer and less direct route than expected. this absence of a shuttle is a significant oversight for a hotel that promotes its proximity to the airport.

a decent stay near the airport

good location direct connection aldi supermarket weak shower expensive parking unpleasant smell

the hotel is near the grünbergallee station. the s-bahn line s9 offers a direct connection to the city center. i found an aldi supermarket just across the road and this was convenient. the room was spacious enough.

the water pressure in the shower was weak. the air conditioning turns off automatically when i leave the room. i noticed the parking fee was rather expensive and an unpleasant smell lingered inside.

convenient location s-bahn station friendly staff road noise ac control limited sleep

The hotel's location is pretty good, especially with the s-bahn station a short walk away. getting to the city center was easy using that train. there's also an aldi right across the street. That was very convenient for snacks. the staff at the front desk were always friendly and ready to help, i found that to be super nice.

my room faced the road, and the noise was quite noticeable. i only got a couple of hours of sleep, really. the air conditioning wasn't controlled in my room. i had to ask someone to adjust it, it kept turning off and waking me up.
