The dining room and communal sitting area presented a sense of the heritage of the building. I saw readily available information about local attractions and a fridge stocked with packed lunches for travelers. I found this convenient.
The traffic noise started quite early. It was noticeable from the main road.

The room was quiet and warm, and the bed was very comfy. I enjoyed a good night's sleep and a good shower in the morning. The room was also clean, except for the window frames.

The location is great for anyone doing the NC500 route. I noticed ample parking spaces available. The village is quiet. I took an evening walk down to the harbour after dinner.

I appreciated the easy access to parking and the location right on the main road. I found the dining room and communal sitting area offered a tangible sense of the building's history.
The traffic noise from the main road began early, around 6am.

The staff were helpful and cute. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. They provided excellent table service during dinner, demonstrating attentiveness and care. The hostess offered personalized attention to guests.

The room smelled strongly of stale smoke. this made it difficult to sleep and worsened my allergies. the bathroom was not properly cleaned. I saw hair and grime.
