Rooms and Cabins
Pike's Waterfront Lodge has 180 rooms and 28 cabins. Rooms have laptop-friendly workspaces, air conditioning, free WiFi, and safes. Standard amenities include a microwave, refrigerator, flat-screen television with free cable, private bathroom, Aveda aromatherapy bath amenities, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, iron and ironing board, telephone, clock with alarm, coffee/tea maker, windows that open, individual controls for heating and air conditioning, and a portable fan. Select rooms are dog-friendly. The room has a seating area with a sofa bed, and some rooms have scenic views.
Dining at Pike's Landing
Guests can dine at Pike's Landing, right next door to the lodge. It features Alaskan cuisine and specialties prepared by Alaska's chefs. It is open year-round and features traditional Alaska fish and seafood in a casual atmosphere. There is indoor seating with river views or outdoor seating on the deck from spring until moose-hunting season. Winter brings views of cars and trucks on the Chena River Ice Road. The Binkley Room overlooks the Chena River and hosts a hot and cold summer buffet breakfast from 6:00 am to 10:00 am and buffet dinner from Sunday to Wednesday. The Captain's Lounge offers Alaska beer or your beverage of choice. A complimentary continental buffet breakfast for Lodge guests is offered from mid September to mid May.
Leisure & Activities
Pike's Waterfront Lodge offers a 24-hour exercise room with two treadmills, a bike, stair climber, weights, and a Swiss ball. A new Dry Sauna is available for guests to use 24 hours a day. Guests can enjoy a winter-style Bocce Ball court featuring groomed pathways, a court, and light-up Bocce Balls. A natural gas fire pit is located on the Aurora Riverfront Deck. The Empress Theater is available with an aurora themed film. There is a 1000-Book Alaskan Library.
Location and Transportation
Pike's Waterfront Lodge overlooks the Chena River and is 5 km from Fairbanks International. Pike's is next door to Pike's Landing restaurant. The hotel offers a free roundtrip airport shuttle and Alaska Railroad Depot pick up and drop off.
Onsite services
Pike's Waterfront Lodge provides free shuttle to Northern Alaska Tour Company. Our hotel offers a 24-hour gift shop with snacks and an ATM, and a 24-hour coin-operated laundry. Pike's has meeting and event planners available. There are nine wheelchair accessible rooms, most with king beds. There is a business center. There are a number of winter specials.
