slow breakfast staffbroken refrigerator
The breakfast lacked a bit of finesse (i expected more from a five-star place). i waited longer than i wanted for coffee, and finding silverware was an adventure each morning. also, i found the mini-bar refrigerator was on strike. It refused to cool anything . it was not really a good experience overall.

riverside serenity
separate sinkswalking paths
the room included two separate sinks. breakfast was good and offered plenty of choice each day. the walking paths along the river are lovely, i walked into porto each day to enjoy the view.
nothing is nearby so either you eat in the hotel or take a taxi. the food is nothing special, rather disappointing for the prices.

the indoor pool was a plus. i enjoyed the riverside path. the path goes to a playground that contains outdoor gym equipment. it also leads to a jewellery museum. the breakfast buffet was great, especially the custom omelets. i requested mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and salmon.
i found that the hotel is not very central. it requires nearly an hour to walk to the city center by the river. having a car is essential if you want to move fast.

my room looked out onto the river. i could see jet skis, ferries, and boats passing by. the room also had soundproofing and comfort. amenities were adequate.

the hotel sits directly by the riverside, providing river views. there is a riverside path next to the hotel. this path leads to the main city area for bars and restaurants. it takes 25-30 minutes to walk there.
