the welcome i received was very warm. i was offered tea in the lounge that had a roaring fire. my luggage was taken to my room. the bathroom included an excellent array of toiletries.

the fire doors in the corridor were awkward. these doors also banged against the walls. card entry would improve late night accessibility.

the breakfast had excellent food. the grounds around the hotel are gorgeous and there are walks you can do. the room had fast wi-fi and a large smart tv. the bed was very comfy.

i would like to see an obvious reception desk and not just a table in the hall, i found that a bit confusing. there werent no draft beers at the bar, a couple would be nice rather than small bottles. the shower splashed onto the floor because the cubicle wasnt well designed.
