My room was spacious. I appreciated the dog-friendly environment. My dog received a bandana. Breakfast was very good. I had a hot breakfast with toast, coffee, and juice. The staff was friendly and helpful. They assisted me with my bags during arrival and departure.

The kitchen closed early one evening, preventing me from ordering hot food upon my arrival.

The room was monster sized and very spacious.

I hate the bed. It was two single mattresses stuck together. My wife kept jamming her shoulder and hip when trying to sleep. She has fibromyalgia, resulting in pain and joint stiffness in the morning, which put her in a bad mood!!!

My stay had a couple of issues. The soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear my neighbor using the toilet as if they were in my room. Dinner also disappointed. My fish pie tasted off, and my husband thought his risotto was dry. I had to send my food back.

the soundproofing could be improved as sounds from neighboring rooms were noticeable, though this did not greatly detract from the otherwise peaceful ambiance.
