A satisfactory stay, minor drawbacks

friendly host tasty breakfast clean house cramped bathroom small shower ceiling tissue

Paula and Adam were very friendly. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. The house felt very clean and relaxed. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.

The bathroom felt cramped. The shower was very disappointing in its size. I noticed tissue paper stuck on the ceiling line by the window.

a very special stay

warm house beautiful house convenient location playstation surprise

the house was warm and beautiful it was conveniently located for walking into the town. the room we had was great as it had a curtain that separated the kids beds from our bed it reminded me of two separate rooms. the playstation was a nice surprise for the kids brisket the dog was a fantastic addition they loved playing with him.

the hotel is near the top of a hill on the far side of the town centre the car park is accessed up a steep driveway there is little space to manoeuvre.

the hotel offers walks directly from the building and its situation provides views the walk to town is manageable and allows access to shops restaurants and local attractions.

breakfast included cooked options or fresh fruit choices are available it also had yoghurt and muesli if you prefer paula cooked and adam served the breakfasts efficiently so we could get out quickly.

the house itself is light and airy it is a victorian house of generous proportions i loved the stylish theme that adds a pop of colour to the rooms the rooms are decorated uniquely.

the hosts were warm and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them they are knowledgeable hosts who provided excellent recommendations for activities and places to visit there.

lovely breakfast restaurant recommendations nice drinks selection

the breakfast was lovely. the hosts offered good recommendations for nearby restaurants. the honesty bar provided a nice selection of drinks.

the driveway to the car park was quite steep.

Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service

delicious breakfast friendly host

The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very friendly. The location was very convenient for exploring nearby walking trails (a real plus). I found the hosts knowledgeable about the area. Parking was available.

The shower in the bathroom was smaller than I expected. I would have liked a bit more space there. This did not greatly impact my stay, however.

The King Room Sea View offered character and lovely views. The provided amenities were of great quality (especially the linens). I found everything very clean and tidy.
