the location was lovely. spacious grounds included highland cattle. it was a very relaxing place.
our courtyard room felt dark and not well aired. a musty smell was noticeable upon check-in. i had to ask reception to vacuum because there were food crumbs all over the floor..

The staff was very helpful during check-in and throughout my visit. The hotel grounds are well-kept and offer a nothing noisy. The parking was convenient, and I always found a spot close to the entrance.

The room was spacious, including a large bathroom with good parking near the building. We also appreciated the hotel providing nice grounds, very convenient for short walks. The quiet night's sleep added to the positive experience.

the room had an issue. the windows had some broken fittings. there was also quite a bit of bird mess. i requested some extra items, it just would have been nicer if they were there already.

dirty rooftopfaulty shower door
The room I booked mentioned views of gardens or grounds, yet I had a view of a dirty rooftop and other rooms windows. The room was small. There was nowhere suitable for my suitcase, just a little, rickety luggage rack. The shower was raised approximately 14 inches. This made it difficult to get in and out since there was no grab bar. The shower door did not close correctly. Water got onto the floor. There was an accident awaiting to happen. The phone in my room did not work, so communication with reception was impossible in an emergency.
