Acceptable stay with some drawbacks

The location was good (I could walk to many places).
The room was very basic. I was also disappointed by the smell from the bathroom. It resembled sewage. We had to keep the door closed at all times.

The location was fantastic. I walked everywhere with ease. the water fountains in the corridors was appreciated. plugs were next to the beds, a simple convenience i valued. i also found the bed comfortable, and i slept well each night.
the receptionist i met was unfriendly when i checked in. i wished to surprise friends on their honeymoon, however the receptionist did not show interest. they did not provide any alternative to what i ask

i did notice eateries all around the location. there are many options nearby. the fab transport links included buses, and são bento was just down the road from the hotel.

this location is central with many attractions at walking distance. i explored the main attractions, shops, and the metro area easily. it was simple to move around because of the excellent location.

the location is close to many city center attractions. i walked to the attractions without problems. the staff stored my luggage early in the morning prior to check-in. the check-in process was smooth.
The hotel was difficult to find by car. I drove around a few times using gps.
