the staff was pleasant and helpful. i found the location very central. the hotel has a lovely building. the breakfast was generous.

the location was great! i could easily walk to many attractions. the staff were friendly too.

The noise at night was terrible. there was constant noise from the street. earplugs were provided, but they didn't help much. the bedding wasn't comfortable. The pillows felt cheap and lumpy.

the location was amazing, right in the heart of the action. i found the staff helpful and attentive. my room was clean and well kept. The breakfast buffet featured a varied selection of tasty foods. i thought Scarletts, the hotel's cosy bar, was a definite bonus. The building has artwork, excellent staff, and location.

the room, while comfortable, had inadequate lighting in the bathroom. i found putting on makeup quite challenging.

a balanced experience

historical hotel central location easy walking loud street missing water delayed water

The hotel is historical. I liked this very much. the location of this hotel couldn't be better, i was right where i needed to be. i could walk everywhere very easily.

My room faced the street, and there is a bar across the street. it was very loud with noise and yelling all night long. this isn't the hotel's fault, but bring ear plugs if you stay there. i emailed in advance to request some distilled water be placed in the room for my cpap machine. I received a prompt reply confirming this would be done, but it didn't happen until i called at 10 p.m.
