The modern-day incarnation of Araujo & Sobrinho, selling upscale and luxury items from perfumed soaps to Porto guide books and small art prints, is on the ground floor. The hotel displays typewriters and office equipment, such as Hèrmes Baby, Pátria and Underwood. The hotel also marks the expansion of facilities with the opening of its own typography, relief work, bookbinding and carpentry workshops.
