Hotel Endsleigh is widely appreciated for its idyllic setting within beautiful grounds featuring waterfalls. Guests often compliment the spacious and comfortable rooms, the delicious food, and the copious breakfast. While some have noted that the roads to get there can be windy and narrow, many find the experience divine, also the dining is of a very high standard, with the cream tea being amazing and beautifully presented.

underwhelming experience

fine groundsslippery stairsinadequate lighting
The grounds were Fine!!!
I found some issues. The steep, bare wooden stairs in Stable Suite 18 were actually quite slippery. There was ALSO inadequate lighting in the rooms. The lack of biscuits in the room felt a bit stingy, especially given that they knew it was a double 70th celebration, offering only a card with the champagne.

a nice experience

gorgeous roomcomfortable bedattentive staffbeautiful grounds
my room was gorgeous, and the bed was huge and comfortable. the grounds were beautiful, showing autumnal colours. the staff were attentive and friendly throughout my stay. they were very dog friendly too!
the stairs in the stable suite were very steep. the wooden boards were also slippery. i think the rooms would benefit from having better lighting.

the room decor in the newly opened suite 21 in the stable block was good. the size of the rooms and little touches impressed me. there were homemade biscuits and a range of teas.
