central location great choice good view dirty stairs late breakfast thread bare

the location feel very central. the breakfast had great choice and views from the terrace were good. it was a matter of minutes from the foot ferry and was perfect.

the stairs needed a clean. i think it also need replaced too.

poor view slow service

I was disappointed with the room i booked. The 'superior room partial river view' wasn't superior at all. The partial view was mostly of a brick wall. the room felt cramped, and the promised river view was barely visible. It was a real letdown? also the breakfast service was slow. I waited nearly 40 minutes for a simple omelette, though the dining room wasn't even that busy.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel Experience

quirky en-suite lovely deck friendly staff

I found the room to be lovely with a quirky en-suite bathroom. The hotel has a deck at the back that is really nice. Breakfast was delicious. I appreciated the quality. I appreciated the friendly staff throughout my stay.

I stayed in a room and found it noisy early in the morning. Vans were unloading from around 5.30am with bottles being emptied and deliveries arriving. This activity of a working town was not ideal for a holiday lie-in.

The restaurant provides excellent food quality, especially at breakfast, it was really quite a spread. The restaurant offers a beautiful view over the estuary, a great way to start the day. I really appreciated this aspect.

A Pleasant Stay

The room was lovely. It had nice views, I thought (the Beautiful Room River View). The breakfast was tasty with quality ingredients. The barman was also friendly and helpful.

The bedroom wardrobe was dusty. Its Louvre doors seemed like they have never been cleaned. The bathroom floor also had cracked tiles.
