Hotel Monge enjoys a brilliant location in the Latin Quarter, within a short walk of Notre Dame and next door to the Arènes de Lutece Roman amphitheater. Many guests find the rooms spacious for Paris standards, with comfortable beds and excellent bathrooms often featuring great showers; some rooms, however, have been described as small by some guests. A delicious and plentiful breakfast and an 'honor bar' each evening are commonly enjoyed, and free coffee and water are available throughout the day.

The location was excellent. It was around the corner from one metro station. A second metro station on a different line was only a 5-minute walk away. Several cafes and restaurants were within 5 minutes. The staff were AMAZING. They were very helpful with whatever you need.

Rooms are VERY small. I was moved to a superior room. It was smaller than the standard one. The elevator did not work one day. I had to carry my luggage down several flights of stairs.

kind staff clean room working air conditioner

The staff was really kind. They were cute and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The air conditioner worked well, and I liked the shower (a great feature). We used a do not disturb sign one day. The hotel emailed to confirm we did not need anything.

The room was smaller than expected. I wish it had a bit more space.

The room was super clean. The bathroom included a nice modern shower. I found the size to be spacious for the city (that really surprised me). Complimentary coffee, tea, and water were always available in the reception area.

The check-in process was cordial and relaxing, REALLY setting a positive tone. the staff helped me find a pharmacy. They even translated symptoms for medicine. the location offers quick access to many boulangeries, and the metro is close.

this was my second stay. the location features metro stops just a block away. dining options and shops surround the hotel. rue mouffetard is just across the street, easily accessible by walking up steps.

the rooms were smaller than i expected based on the description.
