the rooftop pool area impressed me. it offered relaxation options. a pool bar provided cocktails. i appreciated the pool closing time at 11 pm, it allowed for evening relaxation after a day of exploring..

i found the staff seemed occupied with their phones. i noticed they were not particularly pleasant. i did not feel especially cared for. breakfast seemed somewhat sparse with mainly frozen bread.

The staff was friendly, and the complimentary water was nice. the rooms felt clean and comfy to me. it was near maxwell hawker center too. A lot of good food was close.

charmed by the duxton experience

excellent location rooftop pool fantastic view

the location proved excellent. it was a short walk to the maxwell mrt station (very convenient). the rooftop pool was a highlight. i enjoyed a cabana each afternoon and had fantastic views of the city. the room size was adequate, though the minibar was chargeable.

i found some of the amenities lacking. the bathroom provided only basic toiletries like soap and a toothbrush. bath towels seemed small. i think including bathrobes in all rooms would enhance the experience .

nightclub noise disturbed sleep

the location was, i suppose, convenient enough to nearby restaurants and bars.

The noise ruined any chance of a decent sleep, i booked a room and wasn't warned about the nightclub. the bass thumped until 2 am every night. Earplugs did nothing. this is insane that a hotel thinks this is acceptable.

detailed tour special omelette luxurious feel great service

izhar gave a detailed tour of the hotel. the breakfast staff addressed my food allergies well. they prepared a special omelette. the rooftop pool offers a luxurious feel. other guests i met seemed impressed with the service.

the hotel had some LOUD club music on friday and saturday nights. the noise went on until 2:30am. bass vibrations even reached the 10th floor. it made sleeping a challenge.
