slow refund unfriendly staff
the breakfast offered a very nice selection of food.
The reception service was not satisfactory. I was asked to pay a deposit. the refund was not immediate after check-out as promised. It took three days. it is unacceptable to treat guests as potentially guilty of causing damage.

mixed experience at this hotel
I found the fitness center misleading. It is just one small room. furthermore, when i ordered room service on new year's eve, my vegetarian pizza was incorrect and the fries were forgotten, without any follow up from the staff.

wonderful hotel stay
breakfast selection fresh fruit fresh towels helpful staff
the breakfast selection was amazing!!! i particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and pastries each morning. the room was cleaned daily, and i really appreciated the fresh towels. i also made use of the hop-on hop-off bus route, which has a stop nearby. the hotel staff was very helpful with directions.
the gym felt a little cramped with multiple people using it at once.

the hotel is near the concert hall, perfect for attending events. it is also within walking distance to many city attractions. there is a hop-on hop-off bus stop close by for easy sightseeing.

the bistro offers excellent food, especially breakfast. i was kinda surprised by the variety available. fresh juice and pastries were available. the food was AMAZING!!!

mixed feelings about this stay
poor air conditioning distant location
the air conditioning did not work well in my room. i even changed rooms, but the problem persisted. also, the location is a bit far from the center. this is not ideal if you are traveling with family.

stocked minibar convenient location bike rental limited equipment missing towels repeated requests
I stayed in a beautiful king room. the minibar was very nice and was restocked daily. it included water, beer, chips, cola, soda, and juice, with two of each item provided every day! the hotel's location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance, and bike rentals made exploring even easier.
i found the gym equipment limited. there were only two treadmills and one stationary bike. the towels in the room were not always replaced. sometimes, i had to request fresh towels multiple times before receiving them.

minor issues detracted from the stay
weak water pressure non-functional air conditioning
i encountered a frustrating issue with the air conditioning in my room. it seemed to be stuck at 22 degrees (celsius). the water pressure in the shower was also quite weak (a trickle, really), , made it difficult to have a proper wash. these problems impacted my overall experience.

lovely city break!
helpful receptionist kind gesture
the receptionist was genuinely helpful at check-in. i received complimentary chocolates when i checked out, it was a kind gesture. the hotel's location was super convenient. it was within easy walking distance to many attractions, this saved time and transport costs.

The breakfast was very nice, with a wide variety of options. i found both healthy choices and indulgent treats. The hot chocolate was a real standout. it had a rich, comforting flavor that i enjoyed each morning.
