Mere Brook House is often described as a beautiful Victorian house, peacefully located yet conveniently close to Chester and the M53. Guests consistently praise the spacious and elegantly furnished rooms, many featuring comfortable super king beds and views overlooking the garden or nearby Wirral rugby club. The continental breakfast, available at all times, is generally well-received, though some guests have occasionally noted the absence of on-site staff at certain times. The accommodation suited my needs quite well. The social spaces were acceptable.
The room servicing was not as expected. The used crockery remained unreplaced on the first day. I noticed that the room was next to a VERY noisy road. At night, a flashing alarm sensor bothered me. Even the slightest movement triggered a bright blue light.

comfortable bedno hotel soundproofingdangerous plug socket
The room was spacious. It featured a comfortable bed, acceptable.
The location was not ideal since there were no sidewalks nearby. You had to drive everywhere. The absence of soundproofing was annoying because a noisy guest let their kids run wild. The hotel advised the guest to be considerate but it had no effect. One of the plug sockets was coming away from the wall. It was very dangerous
