LOVELY stay AT friendly place
spacious room coffee machine
The room felt VERY spacious. a proper coffee machine existed, quite UNUSUAL and appreciated. i also found the bed comfortable and, despite traveling alone, it was a double. I enjoyed the food. They offered smaller portions too.

The location permits walks directly from the building, a feature any hiker will love. i saw the hotel included a pet friendly pub. This made the environment cute and lively. they provided well supported entertainment on certain nights i BELIEVE.

my room included modern, CLEAN features WITH lovely beams. a cheerful barman chatted with me after i checked out, this. the king-sized bed provided a night of restful SLEEP.

the food tasted home made, i was happy. the cheese onion pie i tried with mushy peas was a revelation. i enjoyed quick service AND great food with plenty of option.

The bar staff were SUPERB, and nothing was like too much trouble. the barmaid. the staff were also friendly and helpful. This enhanced the ENTIRE experience.

friendly staff superb staff homemade food no hot water leather headboard tired room
the staff was very friendly. the bar staff were superb. the food was all home made especially the chips and cheese onion pie. the steak was also great.
there were no hot water for a shower. the faux leather headboard had full of scratch marks. generally the room just felt tired.

good size room excellent pub food friendly staff room mold bathroom mold hot water
the room was a good size. the pub food was excellent!!! i really enjoyed my meal. the staff were friendly too, i must add.
there was mold in the room and bathroom. it wasn't overly clean, i have to say. i also had no hot water when i tried to shower twice.

the room offered a proper coffee machine. it had a comfortable bed. the food was nice and the staff accommodated smaller portions. i had a twin room shower.
the stairs to access the rooms were a small inconvenience.

just okay, i guess
uncomfortable mattress cold water
the mattress was truely awful. i didnt sleep because it was so uncomfortable. it sunk when you sat on it, and i could feel the springs. worst nights sleep ever. the shower temperature was just hot, and i could not adjust it. it was too hot. no hot water came from the sink, only cold water did. plus, our room never got cleaned one day, so i asked the bar staff in the evening for clean towels and tea and coffee.

friendly staff cheese onion pie great ambiance
I enjoyed the excellent food. The cheese onion pie was especially good. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful. They put drinks and food on a tab. The outside area looked nice. The bar had a great ambiance.
The bed wasn't really comfortable for me.
