obscured ocean view limited gym

The advertised ocean view proved misleading. OVERGROWN trees completely obscured any sight of the ocean. the bathroom flooded each time I took a shower. The breakfast buffet offered a disappointing variety of dry, cold food. The gym felt cheap with its limited and inadequate equipment.

poor communication room mix-up

The breakfast had plenty of choices and the quality was good.

The pre-arrival communication was less than ideal, as I emailed the hotel but didn't receive a response (pretty annoying, right?). Upon arrival, there was a mix-up with my room. I booked two single beds, but was given a queen bed. I found it frustrating this wasn't handled more smoothly, especially given the availability of rooms.

Pleasant Experience

The hotel boasts a lovely pool and spa. These facilities appear larger than depicted in photos. I noticed a good number of shaded loungers available. The location suits a shorter drive into the centre.

There was no cleaning service included. Everything was extra. We even had to ask for towels at reception.
