lovely hotel stay

amazing view comfortable bed housekeeping staff

the room was clean as new. i had an amazing view. it had everything i needed. the housekeeping staff were thorough and ensured everything was restocked. the bed was comfortable. the pillows and duvet were amazing.

check in reception was average and not very cute. the hotel was dated. it was difficult getting the right comfortable pillows, which led to uncomfortable sleeps. fluctuating room temperature made dialling the temperature on the air con difficult.

the hotel boasts a very good location overlooking marina bay. nearby malls offer convenient shopping options. access to several major attractions is quite easy from this area. public transport links are also very convenient.

staff members were always attentive and helpful. room service was quick, a great thing. the restaurant staff offered excellent service and catered to our needs. the concierge provided useful assistance with directions.

the pool is very beautiful with comfortable sunbeds. the gym has modern equipment for workouts. breakfast offers a great selection of foods. the hotel has convenient access to a linked mall.

The location provides a clear view of the bay towards Marina Bay Sands. The team provided excellent service from the front desk to the bar. I found the rooms comfortable with good sound insulation.

underwhelming experience

ineffective air conditioning dated room

upon arrival, the air conditioning in the room was not effective. despite attempts by the engineering team, the system did not cool the room adequately. this made sleeping difficult. the room felt dated and not up to a five-star standard.

slow service lacking communication

The check-in process was not smooth. i had to wait an extended time even after specifying my early arrival request in advance. communication regarding room readiness was lacking. I had to repeatedly inquire instead of receiving proactive updates. this was particularly inconvenient after a long flight. the overall service felt somewhat slow and inattentive at times, not fully meeting my expectations for a hotel of this caliber.

underwhelming stay, some issues observed

cold pancakes mold smell

The service felt somewhat lacking. I booked a club room, but the pancakes and bacon were cold in the club room at breakfast. It was disappointing. Later, i noticed a mold smell in the room, and there was food on the settee. These issues detracted from the experience.
