Relaxing Spa Getaway

immaculate groundscaring staffattentive serviceunnecessary deposit
My friends and I visited in January based on a friend's recommendation. The grounds looked beautiful. I look forward to seeing them in spring. The hotel seemed designed for relaxation. The staff were helpful, caring and attentive, though I did notice that the restaurant menu had limited choices for the evening meal, something that might become repetitive after a few nights.
I found that the hotel asked for a £50 deposit per room to ensure robe return. I also had to physically return the robes to reception at checkout! This felt a little unnecessary. I would have preferred a more streamlined process.
Service
9/10
The staff was very attentive. They responded promptly to requests! The team offered assistance with directions and information. I noticed a genuine willingness to ensure guest satisfaction throughout my visit.
Rooms
8/10
My room had a king-size bed with plush bedding. I had a restful sleep. The room included a seating area and a work desk. I found ample space for luggage storage within the closet.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast includes an omelet station. The chef prepares omelets to order. Dinner features a varied menu. There are seasonal dishes. I enjoyed the wine selection. It perfectly complemented the meal.

I loved using the spa facilities. The check-in and check-out times allowed enough time to enjoy everything. the grounds had fine views. opening the balcony door and listening to the rain was a real treat, so relaxing.
the scheduling of my treatment was a bit of a hassle. it was set for 10:00 am on the day of departure, yet our check-out time was 11:00 am. this..

the grounds were beautiful to walk around.
The room felt too warm since there was no air conditioning. the spa pool was also a letdown. It felt overcrowded, and the water looked unclean. there was no staff readily available when my partner had an accident near the pool.

disastrous pedicurerude guest services
my pedicure was a disaster. it was applied too quickly and thickly around 4:45 pm. it remained wet even by 8 pm. when i addressed this, the guest services representative embarrassed me in front of other guests. she also lied and blamed me repeatedly. i lost most of the second day attempting to resolve this issue and had to wait to speak with someone who never was..
