poor room design crowded atmosphere

the staff seemed accommodating and helpful (which i did appreciate).

the room design was not good. it limited the space. the hotel felt crowded with tourists all the time. this ruined the "japanese" atmosphere, especially during breakfast.

The staff were very helpful, and the location was convenient.

I was disappointed that the room cleaning only happened every three days. I expected a daily service. On the days without cleaning, we only got a bag with towels and water. The trash wasn't emptied. The lack of a safe in the room was also a problem. I had to use a shared safe at reception!

i found the onsen on site quite charming. pyjamas were provided, a nice touch. the location worked well for accessing main sightseeing areas. it was a great perk.

i noticed annoying little lights throughout the room. these lights made sleep difficult. milk was not provided for tea. this was a minor inconvenience.
