lovely stay at a cute place
friendly staff heart community new owners fantastic stay
The pub reminded me of the heart of the community. all the locals frequented it, which i liked. the staff was friendly. the new owners showed lots of energy and friendliness!
i noticed the carpet looked a bit outdated.

while i didn't order food, the owner offered to make a sandwich for me after serving hours. another pub nearby offers homemade food with generous portions. the royal oak is very clean and has a nice environment.

kevin and his team were helpful and welcomed me to join them for morning coffee. we had leisurely chats about the local area and sights. the staff ensured our needs were accommodated and that we felt comfortable.

the room was clean. the bed seemed good and comfortable. the staff were friendly, OVER all the stay was great.
the carpet did not appear to have been hoovered. the hotel felt a bit outdated. i also noticed there was street PARKING, not on site.
