service inconsistencies and dated features

the hotel is in a historic building with spacious rooms, high ceilings, and plenty of natural light.
The hotel needs better maintenance. Some areas seemed worn and damaged. the bed mattress was terrible. it seemed outdated and really uncomfortable to sleep on. room service and cleaning were inconsistent!

the location provided convenient access to nearby attractions.
the room's temperature was difficult to regulate it remained uncomfortably warm despite adjustments to the thermostat. the complimentary mini-bar contained only a limited selection of beverages two bottles of water and two cokes were available. this offering fell short of expectations for a hotel of this category i expected a more comprehensive selection.

superb locationfriendly staffgreat breakfastlimited equipment
the hotel has a superb location. i walked easily to the city center and central station! the staff members were helpful and friendly. the breakfast provided a great start to my days.
the gym had limited equipment, it needed more for a good workout experience!
