The Kilbirnie Hotel enjoys a great location close to both the beach and Newquay town, making it ideal for coastal walks and exploring the area. Guests often appreciate the clean and spacious rooms, many with comfortable beds, walk-in showers, and en-suite bathrooms; some rooms even offer lovely views of the Atlantic Ocean. The inclusion of a swimming pool and sauna is a plus for many visitors, though a few guests have noted that noise from other rooms or corridors can sometimes be an issue. It is considered excellent value for money by some.

the breakfast service was acceptable, i guess.
the walls were so thin. i could hear every conversation, every door slam, even someone's questionable music taste. and the shower? it alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold with no mercy. i swear, it was a personal vendetta.

The staff was friendly. the gym had nice equipment!
Our room was not cleaned one day. Even after I asked at reception, nothing happened. The room was still untidy when we returned. Also. there was a lot of noise at night from the second floor. I could hear everything, it was annoying. the beds were very uncomfortable. I won't stay there again.

The breakfast options were okay. The food was fresh and hot.
I was very disappointed with the room. It was much smaller than I expected. The bathroom was also quite outdated. The shower was just a hose attached to the taps. The temperature was either scalding hot or freezing cold.
