a pleasant stay near the gardens

the location was excellent. it was very close to the victoria gate of kew gardens. staff were helpful. food served in the pub was reasonably priced and very nice. the proximity to public transport was very convenient. it was very close to the kew station. a bus stop was directly outside the hotel

the room was hot the entire time, even overnight. daytime temps were only about 22-23 degrees. there was no ventilation, the room just would not cool down even overnight with the window wide open.

staff were very friendly and genuinely interested in my stay. the person who checked me in was quite friendly. i found them to be helpful, they provided quick assistance when needed, and always with a smile

Breakfast had a menu with full english and veggie options. toast, salmon and scrambled eggs, and pancakes were available. i could help myself to tea, coffee, water and juices. the full english breakfast was great. There was plenty on the plate.

the location was close to the tube station! it made trips into central london very easy. our room had tea and coffee making facilities, so nice after a day of exploring. i found the staff super helpful when i needed directions, i felt cared for. the breakfast included vegan pancake options, it made my mornings.

our room faced the street, there was some noise early in the morning.
