lovely stay!
friendly staff clear views restaurant decor northern lights
the staff were friendly, offering helpful tips! the location impressed me, especially since it was away from the city lights, i appreciated the clear views! we got notified when the northern lights was, so we could quickly enjoy them from the patio. the dinner at the restaurant pleased us, i loved its unique atmosphere and decor.
the gym had limited equipment, and i thought some machines required maintenance, though the variety covered basic workout needs.

the beautiful double room had super clean presentation with a comfortable bed! it included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. the room design maximized space while maintaining a cozy feel, i liked it a lot.

the hotel is close to þingvellir, known as iceland's first parliament, offering easy access. it sits near a frozen lake in winter! the area is relatively isolated, it allows for peaceful relaxation, i really rested.

comfortable beds helpful staff
the location was beautiful! the food was delicious, and the beds were comfortable. i especially enjoyed the wonderful setting. i also found the staff were friendly and helpful, especially when i needed directions for local trails.
I found the hot pool a bit small. It would be even better with more space for everyone to relax! the view was great!

the hotel is situated ideally for exploring thingvellir national park and other great hiking trails! it is also about thirty minutes from selfoss, which makes it pretty accessible.

the staff provided assistance with driving logistics back to reykjavik. the room had fresh modern design. the breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were very good. i appreciated the wake-up alarm for aurora.
the hotel spa is a small pool and a tiny sauna.

smoked salmon helpful staff geothermic pool remote location sulfur smell overpriced restaurant
breakfast was excellent with smoked salmon, cheeses, fruit and fresh breads. i also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. the outdoor geothermic pool was wonderful. I even witnessed the aurora while relaxing in it.
The hotel is somewhat remote. this can make travel difficult in the snow and ice. It adds time to golden circle exploration. also, the shower has a horrendous sulfur smell, i noticed. i think the restaurant is overpriced with mediocre food.
