dark blue paint poor air conditioning
Breakfast had a good selection of items and the location was close to a tram stop.
The room decor felt a bit budget I thought The colour scheme with dark blue paint and gold leaf felt dark The air conditioning was not very strong.

interior view claustrophobic feeling
the room was clean , and i suppose the king size bed was alright.
honestly , the lack of natural light nearly drove me mad. the window faced some sort of interior , maybe a convention center , and all i could see were escalators. it felt claustrophobic , and to top it off , the air conditioning was either full blast or nothing at all. i ended up feeling quite ill because of it.

great location helpful staff good breakfast strange layout separate toilet shower temperature
the location was great. it was close to many things i wanted to see. the staff were very helpful (especially with directions). i also found the breakfast to be good.
the room's layout was a little strange. the toilet was in a separate small room without a sink (a bit inconvenient). the wardrobe size seemed disproportionate to the bathroom size. i also had trouble adjusting the water temperature in the shower.

GREAT stay!

warm welcome spacious room walk-in shower quality towels
The staff offered a warm welcome and a smooth check-in! all the staff i met were very friendly and helpful. my standard king room was spacious and comfortable. It also had a fridge. the bathroom had a walk-in shower that had hot water when needed, alongside good-size and quality towels.
i found the lack of a pen or pencil with the provided notepaper a bit irritating.

mixed experience

receptionist absence rare steak
the location was good with easy access to local transportation.
Checking in was odd. I had to find the receptionist outside the hotel making a private call while several guests waited. my room had no windows that could be opened for fresh air. staff at the restaurant and bar seemed more interested in their local friends and business drinks than hotel guests. the menu was minimal and a steak i ordered medium was served rare.
