comfortable bed powerful shower delicious breakfast

The bed was comfortable. The shower had powerful water pressure. The coffee shop served a good breakfast and coffee. I also enjoyed the live band and the drinks at the pub attached to the hotel!!!

The carpets in the hallways seemed a bit worn.

Decent Stay With a Few Issues

late night noise hotel condition

I found a couple things disappointing. The noise level late at night was quite high, with music lasting until midnight. People were partying until 2 AM right outside my ground floor room. It made it hard to relax or sleep. the hotel's condition shows age. Some updating could really improve it. The pub next door had an event with a hefty cover charge and it complicated getting a late drink.

unpleasant odor poor sound-proof

The location was great. Easy access to the car park was a definite plus.

The room carpet had a strong, unpleasant odor. Opening the windows didn't help at all. The soundproofing was also very poor. I could clearly hear people talking in the corridor and slept badly.
