charming stay!

smooth check-in perfect location clean room

The staff was friendly and helpful. the location was perfect, really close to everything i wanted to see. my room was very clean and was newly updated! i especially appreciated the lift access from street level to reception. It was very convenient.

the wifi wasn't working properly most of the time, a bit frustrating, though it seemed better later at night.

easy access comfortable chairs grand staircase

i had Easy access to the bus stops. the hotel location is close to the lake and train station. i also found a grand staircase, a good first impression! the brasserie downstairs allows guests to take a drink upstairs to the reception area where one can relax in one of the many comfortable chairs.

the heater wasn't working in my room. i requested a portable heater and extra blankets. i was told they didn't have any at first. but then the receptionist showed up with one. that was nice of him

the hotel is centrally located with access to the pool at the casino, a definite plus. a welcome drink is available upon arrival, which i considered a lovely surprise and very cute after a long trip.

fantastic location and friendly service

central location friendly staff clean room

i stayed to see the christmas markets, a short walk away. the train station was also close. the restaurant was lovely. the staff was friendly and the food was AMAZING!!! the room was clean and nice.

i didn't find a hot-water kettle in our room, unfortunate. i would have liked to make a thermos of warm water in the cold weather. maybe i missed it in the room information, but it would be nice to have one.

Mixed Feelings About This Stay

bathroom door weak pressure

The lack of attention to detail was disappointing. A large cobweb remained on the wall throughout my stay. The bathroom door also did not close properly, I found this rather inconvenient. The shower's water pressure felt weak and inconsistent, so showers were not enjoyable. The room could definitely use some updates.
