The Haycock Manor Hotel is often praised for its excellent location near the river, beautiful gardens, and pleasant walks. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms, some featuring special amenities like roll-top copper baths, and find the power showers particularly enjoyable. Dining is a highlight for many, especially at the brasserie, though a few guests have mentioned issues with the risotto. Plus, its proximity to Stamford and Burghley House adds to its appeal.

A stay with some minor drawbacks

really good dinnerhelpful receptionexcellent parkingdark roomcold chocolatesabsent staff
The dinner at the kitchen restaurant was really good, i MUST say. Breakfast was also very good. The reception desk was very helpful and cute, so kind. The free parking was excellent, i noticed.
I visited for afternoon tea with my family and the experience was not the best. The afternoon tea was set in a small dark room, a bit depressing. We weren't checked in on or asked if we wanted another drink, SUCH a shame. The hot chocolates we ordered were cold on arrival. It felt very disappointing.

The hotel hosted my daughter's wedding, and the staff was professional. nothing was too much trouble during planning or on the day. every staff member showed dedication to quality customer service. Bar staff worked late to ensure every guest was catered for. we were encouraged to assist with setting up, and i felt so welcome.
