poor condition threadbare carpet
the breakfast included was acceptable
the hallway carpets looked quite poor and unclean i had to go up a narrow windy staircase the carpet was threadbare i think the building needs a good clean and revamp

good breakfast freshly cooked breakfast friendly staff cold room portable heater radiator issue
The location suited my needs very well. The breakfast was also quite good and freshly cooked. Staff members were friendly and down to earth.
The room was cold, so I couldn't turn up the radiator. There was also a small portable heater, but it was insufficient. By the time I returned in the evening, it was too late to find someone to ask about it.

local jams helpful staff yellowed paintwork street noise
the breakfast included a variety of options (i loved the local jams!). the location was very convenient. it was easy to walk to nearby shops and restaurants. the staff were helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with directions. i found the room clean and tidy.
the corridors looked a bit worn. i noticed some yellowed paintwork. the room i stayed in was next to a back door, and it banged loudly early in the morning. the single glazing meant street noise was noticeable on the friday night.

friendly staff central location spacious room tasty options
i found the staff friendly and helpful. the hotel's central location proved convenient. the room was very spacious and comfortable. breakfast offered generous and tasty options, so that was amazing.
the room's decor seemed a bit old.

mattress springs cheap body wash
the room felt pretty run-down. i could feel the mattress springs through the bed. i also found only a bottle of cheap body wash instead of shampoo in the room. so disappointing!!!
