a cozy getaway

warm team local spot morning breakfast

the team welcomed me so warmly. they suggested local spots for food when the kitchen had closed, even setting out plates and cutlery for my takeout. the morning breakfast brought such joy. it had great service.

the noise from nearby ducting disrupted my sleep. water dripped from the shower head during the night. it woke me up a few times. the room needs attention to detail for a better stay.

mixed feelings about the stay

constant noise warm water

the room had tea making facilities, so i could at least get a cuppa.

i was on the top floor and heard constant noise from a pump and pipes.. it wasn't exactly peaceful. also, the water from the cold tap was warm, meaning i couldn't get cold water without trekking downstairs.

the room was a good size, and the bed was reasonably comfortable.

The breakfast service was chaotic. Cooked breakfasts took ages. the continental breakfast options were sparse due to staff shortages, i found the tv reception very poor. i expected more from the stay.
