decent stay, but some issues

unclear extra costs rude older staff

the building and grounds was well maintained, with a location right on the seafront..

the beach access had a huge additional cost. my room lacked tea and coffee facilities, basic for a hotel that considers itself five-star. younger staff were polite, but older staff seemed rude and inattentive, favoring older guests.

fresh fruit authentic atmosphere outdated bike reservation requirement

the breakfast buffet offers a lot of options. i enjoyed that fresh fruit was available every morning and that the selection was updated daily. The hotel possesses charming decor and i admire the authentic atmosphere throughout the hotel.

the gym included one bike, this bike were from the 1980s. i had to make a reservation to use the gym, that was not clear when I booked

The hotel lobby was grand with a beautiful staircase. breakfast included a large buffet with hot and cold options. The hot chocolate stood out.

The pool hours were short. It opened at 9 am and closed at 5:30 pm, rather early.

fresh fruits friendly staff terrace dinners

the breakfast buffet offered fresh fruits daily. staff were very friendly throughout my stay. i found buffet dinners on the terrace especially lovely (the risotto was amazing!).

the gym has limited equipment.
