“Perched atop Gianicolo Hill, this hotel offers a distinct escape with panoramic views of Rome. It strikes me as a place where classic charm meets modern comfort, with that outdoor pool adding a considerable allure. Its location, slightly removed from the city's frenzy yet near Trastevere, makes it in my opinion a solid choice.”

Review summary

Guests frequently highlight the hotel's lovely pool, which offers a refreshing escape, though some mention the requirement of swim caps. The breakfast is often described as delightful, with a variety of options available. Its location is appreciated for being close to Trastevere and other landmarks, making both Vatican City and the Colosseum accessible; on the other hand, a few guests have found some of the room furnishings to be a bit dated. The rooftop terrace stands out, providing panoramic views of Rome.

Acceptable stay

convenient locationbeautiful groundshelpful staffmediocre breakfastnoisy hotelrefilled items
The location was quite convenient (especially for exploring Trastevere). The hotel grounds were beautiful. I found the staff to be helpful and kind.
The breakfast did not impress me. It was quite mediocre. I asked for some items to be refilled. The hotel seemed noisy. I could hear everything that happened in the next room.
