mixed feelings about this stay

poor soundproofing faulty air conditioning
the location was acceptable, very close to the trevi fountain, as advertised.
The room's soundproofing was poor. I could hear everything happening outside, constantly. the air conditioning did not work well. It hardly cooled the room at all, made sleeping difficult. honestly, i expected better for the price.

perfect location rooftop deck meticulously cleaned room
The hotel location is perfect for visiting major sites. I walked to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps easily. The rooftop deck provided a view of the Spanish steps. The meticulously cleaned room was quiet.
The frayed edges on the towels bothered me SLIGHTLY.

the service team provide a professional service.
the towels show fraying on its edges. i was also not pleased that lights outside the room remained on all night. blackout blinds were present, i still felt as if it were daylight consistently.

a DREAM near the fountain

attentive staff flawless transportation exquisite buffet
The staff ALWAYS was attentive and gracious. I arranged transportation to and from the airport, and everything proceeded flawlessly. The breakfast BUFFET was exquisite with many choices. I really did appreciate this lovely gem of a hotel.

street noise constant motos
the breakfast had a excellent buffet.
the room was near the street, so i heard a lot of noise. conversations on the street and the motos passing by was really hard to ignore. i found that very disappointing and it made it hard for me to relax.

Mixed Feelings Near the Trevi Fountain

inconvenient setup frayed towels
The rooftop bar was a tease. It is advertised as lovely, but it lacks a bar. I had to use a phone to call the ground floor bar and wait for them to deliver my drink, a rather inconvenient setup. my towels showed wear. The edges were frayed which was a bit disappointing given the price of the room
