Amazing Location and Comfortable Room

I think the location is amazing because it is near the train station and many shops. The room have a tatami mat area with a built in desk. That be so useful. I get fresh towels every day, it be very convenient.

I dont like that there are no tea in the room, that be inconvenient. The staff behavior isnt pleasant, that make me sad.

I enjoyed the sento. It helped relax tired muscles after long walks. The staff was lovely. They were always available. The hotel was super clean. Everything was well kept. Free coffee was always available in the lobby, which I appreciated.

The breakfast was not very appealing to western tastes.

Charming Stay in Central Location

I found the staff helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations, they went above. The Japanese bedroom impressed me. It featured great design. A convenient laundry room allowed us to wash and dry our clothes .

The hotel was not perfect. The room size felt quite small, especially with luggage, and made maneuvering a bit difficult.

The location was very nice. it was so central to many attractions and dining options. the rooms were beautiful. They provided a very quiet atmosphere, despite being right above the street. the breakfasts were lovely too.

Upon arrival, i noticed the bathroom had a strange smell. It required additional cleaning. the shower curtain was thin and cheap. It reminded me of one from a motel. the hotel also provided low-end shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The premier king room featured a very large bed. I appreciated the breakfast buffet that offered plentiful western and Japanese options, with changes every other day. Staff was lovely and accommodating! I extended my stay, and they kept me in the same room, great.

The hotel is very close to the Gion Shijo station. It is also close to Gion. There are endless restaurant choices around the hotel so I didn't have to go far.
