The Golden Lion Hotel appears to be a popular choice due to its superb location in the heart of Stirling, with easy access to the bus and train stations, as well as being within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Many guests found their rooms to be spacious, and some even enjoyed city views from upper-floor rooms. Breakfast is generally considered plentiful and tasty. While the hotel is appreciated for its central position, some guests have noted that navigating to the car park using a sat nav can be tricky.

the staff seemed helpful enough, though i didn't ask for much.
the room smelled musty like it hadn't seen fresh air in ages, and the wallpaper peeled in the bathroom looked like a toddler attacked it with watercolors.
