Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently praise the modern design and architecture of Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon, with many highlighting the excellent food and outstanding service in the restaurant; for some, it was the best meal they had in Iceland. The hotel's location is also a plus, being conveniently close to Diamond Beach and the Glacier Lagoon. Many guests enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor hot tubs, perfect for stargazing and, if you're lucky, catching the Northern Lights, thanks to the hotel's wake-up call service; however, a few guests found the rooms a bit small considering the price.

the staff offered a northern light wake-up call, a really nice touch. restaurant staff proved very cute and the food, delicious. the room included modern design, ample space, and great cleanliness.
i found the northern light wake-up call was not always reliable. this could be improved with a more consistent system. i did miss it a bit.

helpful staffdelicious breakfastsmall windowinadequate ventilation
The restaurant provided perhaps the best meal I had on my entire trip. Breakfast offered plenty of variety. The staff at the front desk were helpful upon my arrival.
The rooms were crazy hot. Only a small window could open, which proved inadequate. I feel the room should have had better ventilation.
