Rooms with Garden Views
Fukuzumiro has 17 air-conditioned rooms with refrigerators and flat-screen televisions. Rooms feature tatami flooring, traditional futon bedding, low tables, and floor cushions. Most units include indoor 'porches' or sunrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden, river, or mountains. All rooms offer free WiFi, safes, and workspaces suited for laptops. Guests also receive yukatas. Note: only one room has a private en-suite toilet and hot spring bath. Guests must remove their shoes upon entry.
Onsite Dining
Fukuzumiro offers traditional Japanese multi-course dinners with seasonal local dishes, including fresh seafood and vegetables. A full breakfast is available at no cost. Meals are served in the rooms.
Hot Springs and Scenery
Guests can access a communal hot spring bath using natural spring water pumped from over 300 feet underground. Three different tubs are available: a wooden round one made with pine, one made of rocks, and one for families. Tamadare Falls and Miyukinohama Beach are nearby. The Hakone Shrine sits near Lake Ashi, offering views of Mount Fuji.
Location and Access
Fukuzumiro, a wooden building on the Haya River in Hakone, is a 5-minute drive from Hakone Yumoto Station. It is within walking distance of two train stations, 3 km from Ohiradai and 80 km from Oshima. Gotemba Premium Outlets and Harune Odawara are accessible for shopping.
Hotel Services
Fukuzumiro provides free WiFi. Safety features include a carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and first aid kit. Guests are required to indicate the gender of each guest in the Special Requests box when booking. Guests with children must inform the property at the time of booking.
