the breakfast had many options and the gardens were very well maintained. our comfort king room was excellent and the entire hotel setup was beautiful. i would definitely stay again. the grounds were perfectly maintained and a pleasure to walk through.

our room was in one of the two annex buildings and not in the main house. the room felt small and it was not very practical. the shower was directly in the room without even a hook for towels.

the staff were accommodating and willing to help with requests. they provided a late check-out at a reasonable rate. when we asked for an extension on our sloop rental, they kindly allowed it.

the location is quiet, yet central to amsterdam , utrecht , and haarlem. it is nice to come home to a village after a day in the city. the surroundings are peaceful and relaxing.

limited minibarcramped space

the minibar was quite limited i expected more variety it only had a few drinks and snacks also the gym was smaller than i anticipated there were only a couple of treadmills and some free weights i hoped for a wider selection of equipment for a proper workout space felt a bit cramped too i wished there were more machines.
