Unique Canal House Design

Amstel Corner, designed by Geert de Winter, occupies a 19th-century red-brick canal house. The hotel features four individually designed rooms and suites in a contemporary Dutch style. Authentic details of the original canal house remain. Geert de Winter also designed seven other buildings including the Icebreaker bar.

Each guestroom at Amstel Corner features premium bedding, laptop-compatible safes, air conditioning, and free WiFi. Rooms offer flat-screen TVs with cable channels and DVD players, plus free access to Netflix and Apple TV. Some units include a seating area. Guests can choose apartments with twin beds or request a double bed. Kitchenettes are fully fitted. Views overlook the Amstel River or gardens. The largest apartment has high ceilings and city views.
