tired furniture street noise

The room was quite dated. the furniture seemed worn, and the decor felt tired. i also had a room facing the front and the street noise persisted throughout the night. It made sleeping difficult. the curtains let in a lot of light, which didn't help.

mixed feelings about this stay

busy road poor soundproofing

the staff seemed nice enough and were helpful when i checked in late.

i had issues with noise the room faced a busy road traffic sounds kept me awake all night the lack of proper soundproofing was disappointing.

generous room reliable wi-fi modern shower

The room size was generous, a real bonus after a long day exploring! I also found the Wi-Fi reliable. This allowed easy planning for the next day. The bathroom included a modern shower, it was refreshing.

i found the breakfast ADMIRABLE. It included a generous portion of a full Scottish breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.

clean rooms nice shower cooked breakfast

the staff were lovely!!! the breakfast was beautifully cooked and filling. my room was spacious with a nice shower ensuite. i especially liked the clean rooms, everything was perfectly kept.

thin walls flat pillows

the walls were thin. i heard noise from the road and other rooms all night. the mattress was old and springs were felt. i really think they should fix that and replace it. the room smelled a bit musty, which wasnt very pleasant. the pillows was also flat.
