friendly staff perfect room ordered breakfast
The breakfast was cooked to order. It was perfection. The staff were very friendly. The room was perfect because it was only a few steps away.
The vent in my room seemed to connect to the room next door. I could hear everything.

mixed feelings about my stay
small bathroom limited service
The room was small. the bathroom was even smaller. I could barely turn around (it was that cramped). breakfast seemed to be done on a shoestring, even the pre-ordered part. there was virtually no service at the hotel.

charming surprise!
quick service good wifi convenient parking clean room
i was charmed by the quick service and the range of options available for breakfast. parking was also very convenient and i appreciated the good wifi access. the hotel's proximity to the hoe and the city centre shops was an added bonus. my room was spotlessly clean and had very good facilities.
I found that my room faced the back. It meant no view.

the hotel benefits from being in a very central location and is close to many local attractions. it is approximately a five-minute walk to the barbican, perfect for exploring the historical harbour and enjoying the waterfront restaurants.

amazing stay!
clean room hot food great location
i stayed in a beautiful double room and it was very clean. the breakfast had a good choice of hot food. the location was a short walk from the hoe and the town centre (i just loved it!).

Mixed Experience, Acceptable but Disappointing Aspects
slow breakfast unstaffed reception
The breakfast service was quite slow. I waited nearly an hour for my pre-ordered meal. Clearing tables also seemed to be delayed, a cleaning cloth remained on the table next to me throughout my breakfast. The reception was also unstaffed when I left, I could not raise the breakfast issue.

small car park difficult arrangement
The room was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I found the car parking arrangement difficult. Spaces at the front was reserved for blue badge holders. The rear car park was small and other cars boxed you in. It created a problem if I wanted to leave early.
