The owner, Stan, was very cute and friendly. He provided many thoughtful touches, including toiletries and a good selection of hot drinks in the room. Breakfast was excellent, offering everything you could want and it was nicely presented. The cooked breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting the Newcastle area.
I noticed slight wear in some of the furnishings.

the staff gave us a nice welcome upon arrival. stan provided some awesome information concerning the area. he told us about a few great spots to get food. the breakfast offered many choices. there was cereal, toast, fruit, and also yogurt.
the shower looked quite unclean so we didn't shower. i think the rooms could use a bit of tlc, and the walls are thin.
